I hold a doctorate in neuroscience from Brown University. During my training, I recognized the value and importance of skilled communicators who understand scientific and medical content. I chose a career as a scientific and medical writer and editor to help ensure that scientific and medical insights and advancements are effectively communicated, an essential component of scientific and medical progress.

I have special expertise in neuroscience, pain, literacy, and education technology, as well as broad interdisciplinary training, which enables me to work effectively across diverse content areas.

I am a member of the American Medical Writers Association and the National Association of Science Writers.
